A 400QSH1300-8-45kW submersible axial flow pump has recently completed production and inspection at our factory. Designed for large-volume, low-head water transfer, the pump will be used in a high-flow drainage project where rapid and continuous water discharge is required.
The selected pump has a rated flow of 1,300 m³/h, a rated head of 8 m, and a motor power of 45 kW. Its performance configuration is suitable for flood drainage, stormwater management, agricultural irrigation, river water transfer, municipal pumping stations, and other applications involving large quantities of water at relatively low delivery heads.
The project required a pumping solution capable of transferring a large volume of water within a limited period. In addition to hydraulic capacity, the customer needed a compact pump structure that could simplify installation and reduce the space required for above-ground equipment.
After reviewing the required flow, total head, operating water level, power supply, installation dimensions, and expected operating hours, the 400QSH1300-8-45kW submersible axial flow pump was selected for the project.
The pump’s rated performance meets the main drainage requirements:
An axial flow pump moves water mainly in a direction parallel to the pump shaft. This hydraulic design is suitable for applications requiring high flow at a relatively low head.
Unlike a conventional long-shaft axial flow pump, the submersible design integrates the pump and motor into one unit. The complete pump can be installed underwater inside a discharge tube or pump well. This configuration eliminates the need for a long transmission shaft and a separate above-ground motor, helping simplify the overall pump station structure.
For this project, the integrated design also makes equipment installation and future maintenance more convenient. When combined with a suitable control panel and liquid-level sensors, the pump can support automatic operation according to changes in water level.
During production, the main pump components were inspected according to the approved technical requirements. The pump was assembled with attention to the impeller, motor, sealing system, cable connection, and structural interfaces.
Before release, the completed unit underwent factory inspection. The inspection process included checks of appearance, assembly condition, electrical insulation, cable sealing, rotational condition, and operating performance. Relevant operating data were recorded to confirm that the pump met the specified project requirements before delivery.
The pump surface was also treated with a protective coating suitable for normal water-handling environments. For corrosive or chemically aggressive media, alternative materials and corrosion-resistant configurations should be confirmed during the technical selection stage.
The 400QSH1300-8-45kW high-flow submersible axial flow pump can be applied in:
The pump is primarily intended for clean water, rainwater, river water, and liquids with similar physical properties. If the medium contains large solids, long fibers, heavy sediment, or corrosive substances, the liquid conditions must be evaluated before selecting the pump.
The completion of this 400QSH1300-8-45kW submersible axial flow pump demonstrates our production and project-support capabilities for large-volume drainage equipment. From operating-condition analysis and pump selection to manufacturing, testing, and delivery preparation, each stage is completed according to the confirmed technical requirements.
For high-flow drainage or low-head water-transfer projects, customers can submit the required flow, total head, water-level conditions, medium details, voltage, frequency, installation dimensions, and control requirements. Based on this information, we can recommend a suitable submersible axial flow pump and provide a project-specific technical solution.
